It takes the scratches and scuffs from daily wear so the metal underneath doesn't. LunoGuard film is virtually invisible once applied and can be removed cleanly at any time.

Every kit covers the dial (the crystal over the watch face), lugs, caseback, case edges, clasp cover and clasp edges. Most kits also cover the bezel. Where a kit doesn't include bezel film, it says so in that product's description.

For the most part, no. The film is virtually invisible and designed to preserve the original appearance, finish, and reflections of your watch. However, if you look close enough, you may notice the edges very slightly.

Yes. The film sits between your watch and whatever it knocks against, so light scratches and scuffs land on the film instead of the case, bezel or clasp. Its self healing top coat also lets minor surface marks fade with warmth. It isn't designed to stop deep gouges or dents from heavy impacts.

No. Most people apply a full kit at home in about 15 minutes, including first timers. Every kit includes tweezers, installation solution, a microfibre cloth and step by step instructions, plus a complete spare set of film in case a piece needs redoing. Use the installation solution included in your kit. It lets you slide each piece into position and helps the film bond to the metal with far fewer bubbles than plain water, especially on small pieces like the lugs.

No. The film lifts off cleanly without leaving adhesive residue or marking the original finish. Warm water or a little isopropyl alcohol helps it release.

Yes. Water won't affect the film once it has set, and it is UV resistant, so it keeps its clarity in sunlight.

With proper application and care, the film keeps its clarity and protection for years. It is formulated to resist yellowing, and every kit is backed by a 10 year warranty against yellowing and cracking.

Each kit is cut for a specific reference number, from a 3D scan of that watch. Use the Watch Finder to choose your brand, model and reference. If your reference isn't listed yet, request it here.

If you send your watch for a service or polish, remove the film first. Warm it gently with a hairdryer, then peel it away slowly. A spare set is included, or order a fresh kit to reapply afterwards.

Orders are dispatched the next business day from Sydney. Within Australia, Standard delivery takes 3 to 5 business days and Express takes 1 to 3 business days. While delays are uncommon, they can occur due to courier or customs processes. If your order is significantly delayed, please contact us and we’ll assist.

If your kit doesn't fit your watch, contact us within 30 days of your order arriving and we'll replace it or refund you in full. Because every kit is cut for a specific reference, we don't accept returns for change of mind. This doesn't affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. See our refund policy.

The film is covered for 10 years against yellowing and cracking. If either happens, email info@lunoguard.com.au with your order number and a photo of the film, and we'll send you a replacement kit.
